Risk assessment and reintegration of radicalised individuals in the Nordic countries

Abstract

In this report, we explore risk assessment and reintegration initiatives carried out in the four Nordic countries Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. We have interviewed practitioners and other public officials with particular experience of this type of work in the Nordic countries and reviewed research and other literature. On this basis, we cast light on central practices and measures related to risk assessment and reintegration, as well as evaluations of how they work in practice. We highlight key challenges and make recommendations that can serve to improve efforts in these two areas.
