In our summary we will give an overview of our five weeks field trip to India from end of January till the beginning of March 2017. We were positioned in Kerala in Wayanad district and lived in a village called Mothakkara. We wanted to look at agriculture and have done research on farmers livelihoods, how they live and we have also looked into sustainable agriculture. Our problem to be addressed has been: “How does farmers in Mothakkara make a living? Is the agriculture sustainable?”
