dc.description.abstractDenne rapporten er en av hovedleveransene i prosjektet EE Settlement – Embodied Energy, Costs and Traffic in Different Settlement Patterns. Formålet med rapporten er å gi veiledning og anbefalinger som skal hjelpe myndigheter og fagfolk i arbeidet for en mer bærekraftig by- og regionutvikling. Rapporten gir grunnleggende bakgrunnsinformasjon om potensialet og funksjonene til det nettbaserte beregningsverktøyet EE Settlement. Rapporten oppsummerer også lærdommer fra casestudier der verktøyet ble testet ut i praksis, diskuterer verktøyets begrensninger og gir anbefalinger for videre arbeid.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis report is one of the main deliverables in the EE Settlement – Embodied Energy, Costs and Traffic in Different Settlement Patterns project. The objective of the report is to provide a guideline and recommendation that will enable authorities and professionals in the assessment of the expected impacts of new developments at the early-phase planning stage. The report provides basic background information about the potential and functionalities of the EE Settlement tool. The report also summarizes the lessons learnt from actual tool testing in case studies, discusses the limitations of the tool, and highlights suggestions for further work.en_US
