This research study investigates "How ecological sanitation can become a feasible answer to improve sustainable waste management in Norway?". Through a holistic systemic analysis, the entire sanitation system in Norway has been examined thoroughly. Even indirectly related systems have been included in the study: agriculture, economy, legislation, politics, culture, habits, behavior, consumption, pollution, water treatment, waste treatment, and the environment have all been studied to investigate where improvement is possible and whether a more ecological sanitation alternative can provide an answer.en_US
