| dc.description.abstract | Developing a formal and functional language for catering equipment. In the catered event a meal becomes a carefully orchestrated occurrence. Foods are carefully displayed on platters, knives are polished, and glasses clear, all of these components carefully assembled to an enticing composition, which should invite the guests of the catered event to enjoy the food and surroundings. In light of this purposefully designed table landscape, it is peculiar that there is no coherent form language in the equipment used. All tools are polished and clean, however, they do not seem to belong together.
