dc.description.abstract | This article describes the use of flipped classroom and student-active teaching
methods in a technology-rich classroom, called ProLab, at Oslo and Akershus
University College, for a course in Dynamic Systems during fall semester
2014. Careful pedagogical design and technical support were crucial for
successful implementation of active teaching methods in ProLab for approximately 60 students. Implementation of group work and student
presentations in class was successful; the students were satisfied with the
course, and an increased learning gain was measured. The course in Dynamic
Systems can be further improved by introducing stronger incentives for the
students to prepare prior to class. | en_US |
