dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this thesis is to analyze the movement of hinged door by using CFD simulation software. This work is very to the present pandemic situation because it analyses the movement of mass between to rooms. Transient flow analysis is used due to the variations of flow properties with time and space. In this case, mass flow, air velocities, transfer of energy in the form momentum and movement of pollutant is analyzed from the result of the simulation. In the simulation to regions is created one for the overset (door) and the other for the domain (air). The movement of the door which gives rise to air movement in return mass flow. Overset mesh zero gap is used as best losing due to small gap between door and the domain.en_US
