dc.description.abstractHaving an accurate account of the number of national COVID-19 cases is essential for understanding the national and global burden of the disease and managing COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. There is also substantial under-reporting of COVID-19 cases and deaths in many countries. In this article, the COVID-19 under-reporting problem in Turkey is addressed, and examples and reasons for the under-reporting are discussed.en
