Abstract
This thesis investigates the usability challenges faced by healthcare professionals when using web-based admin dashboards and explores how enhancing usability could improve diabetes management and prevention services. Through a qualitative study using the Plunde application as a case study, primary usability challenges were identified, including complex navigation, interface clutter, and information overload. Participants highlighted the importance of features such as the search bar for efficient data retrieval. Enhancements to the responsiveness of the web dashboard were also suggested to support healthcare professionals' mobility. These findings underscore the significance of usability improvements in facilitating effective communication and informed decision-making in diabetes care. However, limitations such as research bias, and outdated web frameworks of the primary material during development were noted. Despite these challenges, addressing usability issues holds promise for optimizing diabetes management and prevention services.
