| dc.description.abstract | Aggressiv atferd i parforhold er komplekst, og i dagens samfunn et alvorlig problem. Atferden kan føre til negative konsekvenser hos individet selv, og for omgivelsene rundt. Artikkelen vil se på mannlig aggressiv atferd i parforhold mellom en mann og en kvinne i et atferdsvitenskapelig perspektiv. Det vil fokuseres på årsaker til at atferden forekommer. Herunder foranledninger, atferden i seg selv, og konsekvenser som fører til økt forekomst av den aggressive atferden. Tematikken vil belyses gjennom en scoping review, hvor det ved bruk av et systematisk søk er innhentet 18 litteraturbidrag som belyser oppgavens problemstilling. Hensikten med artikkelen er å kartlegge foreliggende litteratur, og finne årsaksforklaringer til mannlig aggressiv atferd i parforhold, i tillegg til eventuelle kunnskapsgap. Funnene diskuteres i lys av atferdsvitenskapelige begreper, med vekt på læringsteori samt evolusjonære forklaringer. Artikkelen inkluderer etiske aspekter, både i forhold til problemstillingens søkefelt og i forhold til ideologiske kritikker. Funnene tyder på at menns aggressive atferd er frembrakt som en respons til miljøbetingelsene rundt individet, i tillegg til at det kan være evolusjonært frembrakte bakenforliggende årsaker til at aggresjonsatferd forekommer hyppigere under enkelte betingelser.
Aggressive behavior in partnerships is a complex phenomenon, and in today’s society a serious problem. The behavior can lead to negative consequences in the individual, and in the close environment. This article will look at male aggression in partnerships between a male and a female in a behavioral analysis perspective. The focus will be on causes for the aggressive behavior. Thus, the article will look at the antecedents, the behavior itself, and consequences of the behavior leading to an increased occurrence of the aggressive behavior. The topic will be elucidated through a scoping review, where 18 literature contributions have been obtained through a systematic search that illuminate the thesis problem. The purpose of this article is to survey the available literature, and find causal explanations for male aggressive behavior in relationships, in addition to any knowledge gaps. The findings will be discussed in the light of behavioral science concepts, with an emphasis on learning theory and evolutionary explanations. This article includes ethical aspects, both in relation to the problems search field and in relation to ideological criticism. The findings suggest that men`s aggressive behavior is produced as a response to the environmental conditions surrounding the individual, in addition to the fact that there may be evolutionary underlying reasons for why aggressive behavior occurs more frequently under certain conditions. | en_US |
