dc.description.abstract | Classical Sampling methods play an important role in
the current practice of Internet measurement. With
today’s high speed networks, routers cannot manage to
generate complete Netflow data for every packet. They
have to perform restricted sampling. This thesis
summarizes some of the most important sampling
schemes and their applications before diving into an
analysis on the effect of sampling Netflow records. | en_US |
